In our competitors’ curriculums, there is a lack of practical exercises. In Total Physical Response (TPR), real-life activities motivate the pupils to grasp the language in a positive and enthralling manner, rather than sitting and studying in the abstract ways offered by the competitor. Our method, supported by the Natural Approach hypothesis offers fun and education at the same time, which is crucial for the language acquisition process.
Parents will have the benefit of our 2 for 1 package without also having to pay money for additional language lessons. With our Language through Sport program children will have fun and burn energy, while they acquire English naturally. This is like any other extracurricular program such as Taekwondo, volleyball, art or music, but with the important addition of foreign language, which boosts their self-esteem and enhances the sense of our global connectedness.
Companies offering sports (Karate, Judo, etc.) and other after-school activities (Visual arts, etc.) do not have a language-integrated model. Some institutions offer language and sport together such as football summer camps in England or in the USA, but their programs are only for a short time and mainly teach only sport related words and phrases (run, jump, teammate etc.). They sometimes may cover other small topics but it's inadequate due to the time limitations. In a nutshell, neither sport courses nor language courses offer both opportunities at once to the student.
Sprachsport go one step beyond and integrate sport as a primary way of teaching this language acquisition method in accordance with the official school curriculum.
